Rock Caron

I have lived in Sainte-Catherine since 1995, a city that I love deeply. I believe that good administration begins with listening to citizens, respecting their financial reality, and making decisions with complete transparency.

With a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, I have extensive management experience in the pharmaceutical industry, where I have developed a strong ability to mobilize people and make thoughtful decisions—strengths that I wish to put to work for the citizens of Sainte-Catherine.

I have also been involved as a volunteer for several years with the Huntington Society of Quebec, where I currently serve as vice-chair of the board of directors.

Through my active participation in various boards (police, fire, wastewater, sports, MRC Roussillon), I have gained a good understanding of local issues.

I want to restore trust between the administration and citizens. We all deserve to understand and participate in decisions that affect our city.

👉 As mayor, I am committed to:

  • 💬 Mastering the issues, explaining decisions, and recognizing the contributions of citizens. People have the right to understand what is being decided, why it is being decided, and how their voices have been taken into account.
  • 📊 Adopt a transparent approach that clearly explains the costs and benefits of projects in order to make responsible financial decisions that respect the needs and abilities of citizens.
  • 🌱 Protect and optimize the use of our green spaces to ensure their sustainability.
  • 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Oversee the city’s development to promote its growth, where quality of life and proximity remain priorities.

Sainte-Catherine has everything it needs to succeed. Together, let’s move forward with rigor, common sense, and fidelity.
