France Gendron

A native of the Fleurs neighborhood in Sainte-Catherine, I grew up here, built my family here, and saw my children flourish in a caring community. Though my career as a flight attendant has taken me around the world for over 30 years, this is the place I always return to—and the place where I’m committed to getting involved in municipal life.

Trained in industrial relations at the University of Montreal, I have developed over the years solid expertise in conflict management, negotiation, active listening, and finding sustainable solutions—skills that are essential for a municipal councillor, where decision-making must be thoughtful, structured, and focused on the collective interest.

My profession has taught me to remain calm under pressure, communicate effectively with a variety of audiences, and manage complex situations with empathy and rigor. Today, I want to put these qualities to work for the citizens of Sainte-Catherine.

My commitment to the community has also been expressed through my involvement as vice president of Parent Secours Sainte-Catherine for more than 13 years. This role has allowed me to make a concrete contribution to the safety of families, while strengthening the social fabric of our city.

👉 As a candidate for city councillor with the Action Sainte-Catherine team, I am committed to:

  • 🏗 Promoting responsible management of municipal resources, ensuring the efficiency of services and the quality of our infrastructure.
  • Work to develop a comprehensive local and intermunicipal public transportation system to enable residents to efficiently access essential services, healthcare centers, businesses, and employment hubs.
  • Promote the development of interconnected transportation corridors to ensure smooth, safe, and sustainable traffic flow between the city’s various neighborhoods and hubs.

For more than four years, our team at Action Sainte-Catherine team has been closely monitoring municipal issues, actively participating in council meetings and maintaining a presence in the field. Our goal is clear: to maintain constant contact with citizens, keep you informed, listen to you, and promote your priorities.

On November 2, I vote Action Sainte-Catherine – Team Rock Caron
